The aim of this webinar is to provide you with an overall understanding of why LGBT+ inclusion is important to Rotary. The session will provide a level of comfort around terminology, explore challenges often faced by LGBT+ communities and provide awareness on the impact that a culture has on the lived experiences of LGBTQ+ people.
At the end of this session, you should be able to:
- Explain the differences between sex, gender identity, gender expression and orientation
- Outline some of the unique challenges faced by LGBTIQ people
- Understand the key actions we can all take to create a more inclusive culture in our clubs
